Playback

Click “Playback” in the control panel. Next, you will see the screen in which you can change these settings.

Changing document playback settings

Automatic backspace interval
If you pause playing a document and then resume play, it is possible to jump back a few seconds in the audio and/or text file. This setting determines how many seconds the cursor jumps back, on a scale from 0 to 10 seconds.
Winding speed
Slider to set the (re)winding speed on a scale from 5x to 30x.
Playback speed
Slider to set the playback speed on a scale from 0.5 to 2. Playback and correct synchronously or asynchronous You can either playback a recording synchronous or asynchronous. Whilst playing the recording synchronously, the mouse pointer (blue line) in the text will follow synchronously with the audio recording. Whilst playing the recording asynchronously, you can edit the text in a different spot to where the audio recording is.
Playback device
In this setting you can view the preferred device for playback. If multiple devices are connected, you can change the preference for your workstation here.
Playback level
With this setting the playback level (volume) can be modified on a scale of 0 to 100%.
