You are able to import audio files from compatible entry devices.
Please note: only .wav files are supported.
To import audio files from a voice recorder, first connect the recorder to your computer through a USB port. For instructions on how to connect your voice recorder, consult your supplier.
Once a voice recorder is connected to the computer, SpeechReport will detect it automatically. Underneath the “Import” option, an option appears with the name of the recorder.

Before you can import the files and place them in the work list, you must select the document properties. For each audio file in the list, you will see drop down menus that indicate the document properties. The document properties that were set on the voice recorder when the document was created will be not by changed by uploading the files into SpeechReport Client. As well a quickplay functionality is available to identify the documents if needed. This works the same as the quickplay that is available from the Search worklist. An instruction will be played first after wich the dictation will be played.
If you do not want to import an audio file, then click the “Skip” button.

Please note that if a transcriptionist needs to import audio files from voice recorders on behalf of a consultant or physician, the transcriptionist needs to be allowed to do that (on behalf of a physician/consultant). These settings need to be configured in SpeechReport Admin. Please contact your system administrator for further information.
Note: When the template is fixated for the selected worktype, the background will be grayed out and the dropdown of the combobox will be disabled.
Note: when an identifier is marked as external number, it can appear across patients, in such a case the user will be provided with a dialog to indicate the target patient based on name, gender and birthdate.
