EN - Enable suppress button click noise filter

GOAL:

This article describes how to configure a SpeechMike III to suppress the noise of clicking the buttons on the device.

 

Note: RSDK version 2019-07U6 writes the firmware version and firmware settings for Philips dictation devices into the RSDK logfile.

 

PREREQUISITE:

Make sure you have the latest version of Philips SpeechControl (successor of Philips Device Control Center).

Make sure you have the latest firmware installed on your Philips SpeechMike (HOWTO: update Speechmike Firmware)

 

SOLUTION:

  • Start the application "Philips SpeechControl"
  • Connect the SpeechMike to the computer (when the SpeechMike has been recognised by Philips SpeechControl, the device name will be shown in the "Active Device" window
  • Click "Device"
  • Click "Download" to download the current settings from the SpeechMike to the Philips SpeechControll application
  • Click "Advanced settings"
  • Button Click - Enable "Enable Suppress button click noise filter"
  • Click "Upload" to upload the settings to the Philips SpeechMike
  • You can now close Philips SpeechControl and unplug the Philips SpeechMike
