Patient Notes

On a document level a note can be attached to share information which is not part of the report or letter but is useful for everyone involved in the work processing a document. The information in the document note relates to the document and once the document is finalized the note is no longer available. In relation to the document note, SpeechReport Client offers a patient note. This note is available for everyone involved in the work processing a document related to a certain patient.

There are a few differences. Firstly, Patient notes are still available after a document is finalized. When a new document for the patient is created, the notes are still available so patient information resigns over documents. Besides this, not everyone is allowed to adjust or delete patient notes, only the creator of the note is allowed to change the content or delete the note. For flexibility however, there is a role base right introduced to extend this right to other users.
The note comes with an undo functionality in case the text of a note was accidently deleted.
